The Swiss Robotics Day (SRD) is Switzerland’s most comprehensive exhibition on robotics for industry and research. 

The SRD brings together industry, researchers, investors, engineers and students to exchange and share experiences, new ideas, and technologies. Matchmaking sessions facilitate collaborations and partnerships. Presentations of distinguished speakers will focus on innovative technologies, new market trends for robots, logistics, the future of aerial robotics and robots in healthcare.

Since 2021 the format of the event evolved to include more networking and matchmaking sessions and help facilitate collaborations and partnerships. New features also included job advertising and a pitch / storytelling session for start-ups and young companies. 

The SRD is a one-day event initiated by the Swiss National Centre of Competence in Research in (NCCR) Robotics – a flagship project with EPFL as leading house and ETH Zurich as co-leading house. The 2024 edition is organized by Innovation Booster Robotics, the University of Basel (Dept. of Biomedical Engineering) and EPFL.
